Have you ever read your Bible and thought, I wonder what it would be like to stand right on the spot where those incredible events took place?

You get to do exactly that when you join us on a journey through Israel and Greece. Suddenly the pages of Scripture are no longer black and white — they’re bursting with colour, sound, and life.

The Land That Changes You

Visiting Israel changes you, it certainly changed me, because there’s no other place on earth like it. From sailing across the Sea of Galilee to standing on the Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus preached, every stone, tree, and hill contains a sermon all its own.

I’ll never forget the first time I prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane. Surrounded by ancient olive trees, I realised this was where Jesus wrestled in prayer before going to the cross. Moments like that mark you forever — and I’ve seen the same thing happen in the lives of so many travellers who have come with us.

Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus and Paul

This tour is an incredible opportunity to walk in the same places as Jesus and Paul, and it’ll take us into the heart of the Biblical story. In Jerusalem, we’ll walk the Via Dolorosa, worship at the Garden Tomb, and take in the breathtaking view from the Mount of Olives of the Holy City. We’ll journey into the Judean desert to Masada and Ein Gedi, float in the Dead Sea, and visit the place where David once hid from King Saul.

…every time I return home from the Holy Land, I feel as though I’ve left part of my heart behind…

It doesn’t stop there however, because we’ll also follow the Apostle Paul’s missionary journeys through Greece. From Philippi, where Lydia was baptised, to Mars Hill in Athens where Paul reasoned with philosophers, to the ruins of Corinth where he preached the Gospel with boldness. It’s like tracing the very steps of the early church.

Two Decades of Pilgrimages

My husband Ian and I are thrilled that this will be our 20th tour leading a group to the Holy Land. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of walking these ancient paths with thousands of believers from Australia, and each time it feels just as fresh and powerful as the first.

People often tell us afterwards, “I’ll never read my Bible the same way again.” And I couldn’t agree more because I have the same experience. The land truly transforms the way you see and understand God’s Word. But What About Safety?

Now it’s understandable that people sometimes ask about safety when travelling to Israel because of the conflicts in the region. Let me reassure you: our tours are organised with the utmost care and wisdom; we never take unnecessary risks. We partner with highly experienced local guides and operators who know exactly where it’s safe to go.

Even though Israel makes headlines for wars and threats, the reality on the ground for visitors is that Israel is incredibly safe and secure. We would never take people into unsafe situations — and after twenty tours, I can say with confidence that you can set your heart at ease.

I’d Love You to Join Us

It would be such a privilege for you to join us on our next tour, and it’s true to say that every time I return home from the Holy Land, I feel as though I’ve left part of my heart behind, and there’s a lot of my heart there these days. It is simply life changing.

I truly hope you’ll pray about joining Ian and me for this special journey in March 2026. It would be our joy to walk with you through the land where God’s story unfolded and from where it spread to the rest of the world, right down here to the land Down Under. Israel … it’s the land where His Word comes alive.

Shalom,

Mandy Worby
