‘I saw Hamas terrorists killing the citizens of my town’

The southern Israeli city of Sderot was hit severely during the October 7th attack on Israel by Hamas. Hundreds of people were injured and more than seventy people lost their lives that day in Sderot. The entire city was evacuated and the local police station was completely destroyed during intense fighting with terrorists. What is it like to be the mayor of a city that has been hit so hard. And how do you keep going while still facing the ongoing war in Gaza.
