Support Youth Resilience Centres in Northern Israel
Comfort Israel’s Young People Through Practical Action
Your gift today can help support Youth Recreational and Resilience Centres — safe, structured spaces where adolescents aged 12–18 can rebuild friendships, develop leadership skills, receive guided support and take part in meaningful community life.
The war has not ended for these young hearts
When a family returns home after evacuation, the outside may look familiar. The streets, schools and community buildings may still be there. But for many young people, life does not simply go back to normal.
Teenagers in northern Israel have carried the strain of prolonged instability during some of the most formative years of their lives. They have lived with fear, disruption and uncertainty. Many have been separated from schools, friends, routines and the community frameworks that help young people feel secure.
Even after returning home, many adolescents continue to face anxiety, loss of direction, boredom, emotional strain and a weakened sense of belonging.
Recovery requires more than reopening buildings. It requires rebuilding confidence, relationships, leadership and hope.
Your gift can help rebuild that stability.

A safe place. A trusted rhythm. A reason to hope.
Youth Recreational and Resilience Centres are being established to give teenagers in northern Israel the structure and support they urgently need.
Each centre is designed to become a stable community hub where approximately 80 young people can gather regularly in a safe, fully equipped environment.
Inside these centres, teenagers can reconnect with friends, take part in sport, music, art, culture and outdoor activities, join leadership programs, volunteer in their communities, build practical life skills and receive guidance from trained staff.
These are not simply rooms with furniture.
They are places where young people can begin to feel safe again. Places where they can be known by name. Places where they can learn that they are not too young to help rebuild their community.
A place to belong
Your gift helps create welcoming spaces where teenagers can reconnect with friends, rebuild trust and recover a sense of normal life.
Guided support
Through trained staff and structured programs, young people can develop resilience, communication skills, teamwork and confidence.
Youth who lead
These centres give teenagers opportunities to serve others, lead initiatives and become part of the recovery of their own communities.
Noam’s Story
“At the youth centre, I felt meaningful.”
Noam is from a community in northern Israel that was evacuated during the war.
Before the war, he was part of a youth leadership group at his local centre. Each week, he and other teenagers volunteered — collecting food for families in need, packing food boxes, preparing sandwiches for children, and learning how to serve others with dignity.
At school, Noam sometimes felt invisible.
At the youth centre, he discovered that he mattered.
When the war began and his community was eventually evacuated, the spirit of the youth centre went with him. Noam and other teenagers helped displaced families, cared for younger children and supported elderly residents. In the middle of confusion and fear, they created moments of light.
For Noam, the youth centre was never just a place to spend time.
It was where he belonged.
It was where people counted on him.
It was where he learned he could lead.
