Building bridges between Jews and non-Jews in Austria

From a young age, Marie-Louise had a keen interest in music, prompting her parents to arrange piano lessons for her. Most of her teachers and fellow students were Jewish, and they often invited her to join them for Sabbath and other activities. Through these experiences, she became deeply immersed in Jewish life, inspiring her to live according to the Biblical calendar.

When she went to Vienna on a scholarship, Marie-Louise discovered a lack of dialogue between Jews and non-Jews. She prayed to God, asking to be used as a bridge between them. During this time, she met Rev. Willem Glashouwer, who was visiting Vienna for a lecture series about Israel, and stayed in contact with him. Eventually, she faced a pivotal decision: to continue her musical career or to go to the Netherlands for the “Train the Trainers” program of Christians for Israel International.

In this interview with Marie-Louise she shares about the start of our work in Austria and what they do to help the Jewish people.
